Sarah has been working in the creative arts for over 13 years with experience from time as a MT-BC (Music Therapist) working with older adults in assisted living, memory care, and hospice/end of life care, to leading worship at her church, teaching private and group lessons, music directing annual musicals & shows, leading her “All Abilities Choir” and teaching arts based classes for kids and adults with disabilities at a local non-profit, STEP VA. Sarah holds a B.M. from Shenandoah Conservatory in Music Therapy with a concentration in Piano. She studied under Lithuanian pianist, Ieva Jokubaviciute and Dr. Robert Larson. One of Sarah’s favorite shows she has music directed has been Suessical and Shrek! When she is not teaching or in a rehearsal, Sarah is (primarily!) a parent and caregiver to the kiddos in her home. Sarah & Jake (husband) are also foster parents who believe that every child and their families need to experience the love of Christ!
