Learn to use a sewing machine, make simple costume repairs, and create practical sewing projects while exploring the exciting world of costume crew. Along the way, you'll build confidence, learn valuable theater skills, and discover how you can help bring every Christian Youth Theater production to life.

Marnie Godfrey

Marnie Godfrey Marnie Godfrey is a graduate of James Madison University, where she studied music and art. A licensed aesthetician, she spent 24 years educating physicians, aesthetic fellows, residents, nurses, and fellow aestheticians. Since becoming involved with CYT in 2022, she has enjoyed serving with the costume department, where she combines her love of creativity, organization, and teaching. She is passionate about encouraging volunteers of all experience levels, fostering a welcoming costume community, and helping bring each production to life. She hopes every student leaves feeling encouraged, equipped with practical skills, and inspired to continue serving behind the scenes.
