Description

Dialects make or break the shows they’re in. Come join me for a deep dive on all of the accents which will grace our stage for the remainder of the season. Learn Russian, German, and New York accents while mastering tools to help you conquer any country…dialectically speaking, of course.

Keri Church

Keri Church holds a B.A. in Theater Performance from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, an M.A. in Drama Therapy from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, and an M.Div from Veritas Baptist College. Most recently she has directed Elf for CYT. Her favorite directing credits include Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Cinderella’s Glass Slipper, The Princess and the Pea, Our World: A Musical Ethnodrama, A Month in the Country, Pinocchio, It’s A Wonderful Life, The Individuality of Street Lamps, 15 Reasons Not To Be In A Play, and Burying Barbie, Keri was a founding member of IUP’s comedy improvisational group The Troupe, and of Fredericksburg’s improvisational troupes The ICHBINI Incident, Down In Front, and Ratchet Up Comedy. She taught High School Theater and teaches and coaches voice and acting privately. Amazon published her first two textbooks on theater entitled Survival Guide to High School Theater and Scripts for Days.
