Description

Readers theater is a form of performance where we strip theater down to it's bare bones. There are no costumes, no sets, no props; just an actor and a script. In this course we will explore the world of readers and the impact it has from worship services to audio books. If you're interested in honing your narrative speaking skill and becoming an expert reader this is the class for you!

Brittany Walters

Brittany graduated with a BA in Theatre from Bluefield College. Since graduating, she has been active in the theatre community of Frederiscksburg; working with the Fredericksburg Theatre Ensemble, Caroline Community Theatre, Riverside, and of course Christian Youth Theatre. When she is not stage managing with CYT she is a weekend DJ for B101.5 and the Drama Teacher at Fredericksburg Christian School.
