Description

Do you love the sound of groups like Pentatonix? How does each singer hold those close harmonies even when the chords are dissonant? This class is a very advanced A cappella music class. We will not only practice holding our own vocal part but also learn how to count and begin to  musically read the rhythms of our parts. We will do a variety of styles and make some amazing, goose bump raising, heart pounding music together. THIS CLASS WILL REQUIRE AN AUDITION.  If you want to level up your ability to hear and produce show stopping harmonies this is the class for you!! Can't wait to see you there!!

When you sign up for this class, that means you will be signing up for the audition to be in the class.  We will hold auditions on Friday, Feb. 24 from 4:00-5:00pm and Saturday, Feb. 25 from 5:15-6:15pm, at the CYT studio. You will know by Sunday evening, Feb. 26th if you made it in the class.
Prerequisite: Small Ensemble experience in part singing

Since coming off the road Pam and her husband have had a dream of starting a family oriented Christian based arts school and theater company. She is thrilled to have CYT in the Fredericksburg area and looks forward to many more productions. It is so much fun to watch the kids grow in their abilities and their confidence. She feels blessed to have had the opportunity to work with such a great artistic team and awesome group of kids!! Pam served as CYT Fredericksburg's Artistic Director from 2010-2015, and now serves as our Director of Music.
