Class Description

Ahoy, me Hearties! Join good Jim Hawkins, Billy Bones, Long John Silver, and our Pirate Crew as we set sail on a grand adventure. We’ll sing, we’ll dance, and we’ll hunt for Captain Flint’s treasure. But only the hardiest of ship-mates need sign up for our sea-faring journey. Savvy?

Stefanie Hughes

Stefanie Hughes began her educational path in Art Foundations at VCU where she studied sculpture, and extended media, and Scenic Design. She has provided artistic consultation for many museums, theatres, and Scenic Design companies in Virginia, and the District of Columbia. After starting her family, and providing therapeutic foster care to children with special needs, she changed her educational focus to Special Education. Stefanie is a Lead Special Education instructor at a VDOE Private day school for children in K-8th grade. Stefanie is also establishing a Group home for teen girls in foster care, Pathway House Youth Services, where as the Program Director she seeks to help young women who were victims of abuse, and human trafficking. As a Southern Mama, Stefanie saves the world one kid-tastrophe at a time, and ruminates on her blog where she talks about the important things in life: faith, family, fun, and Biscuits and Gravy.
