***Held in coordination with "Double Take - Sing It, Dance It, Own It" (8-12 year olds)

This class is a unique offering. Students in the 13-18 age group will meet with Ms Moffitt for the first 50 minutes of class for dance practice. They will then meet as a large group for 20 minutes in the middle of class for snack and devotion. The remaining class time for the 13-18 year olds will be with Mrs King for singing.

The final showcase will give both classes the opportunity to show off what they have learned in their smaller groups. They will also come together as a larger group bringing their voices and talents together for one stellar performance.***

Teacher:

Rebecca Moffitt

Rebecca's dance background spans from an early start training at The School of the Richmond Ballet, to finding a love for performing in show choir, to choreographing for James Monroe HS theater and the UMW show choir for eight years, to nearly a decade of teaching and choreographing dance at Turn Cardio Jam Studio. She and her husband Chris have four kids and you can often find them supporting their girls on the CYT stage or volunteering at other CYT shows. "And she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth" (Hosea 2:15)

Teacher:

Pam King

Pam King has been greatly involved in music since childhood, from playing violin to singing on stage and at church. Pam holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Tennessee Technological University and a Master of Music Degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. She and her husband Mckenneth toured throughout the country for thirteen years giving concerts in churches, retreats and conference centers. Pam and her husband have been directors of many shows both in community theater as well as church. Pam currently has her own private voice studio where she teaches forty students a week. Since coming off the road Pam and her husband have had a dream of starting a family oriented Christian based arts school and theater company. She is thrilled to have CYT in the Fredericksburg area and looks forward to many more productions. It is so much fun to watch the kids grow in their abilities and their confidence. Pam King was one of the founding members of CYT Fredericksburg in March of 2006. She feels so blessed to have been actively involved with the CYT family for the past 16 years.
