In 2011 CYT Fredericksburg opened a full service dance studio. We offer dance classes for all levels of experience including beginners. Dance in the Light has three competitive dance teams that audition in August for team placement. The teams will compete in several competitions in the spring, please check our online calendar for dates. We welcome students to our traditional non-competitive classes until the end of January. Please check our class schedule for a list of what's available.
Dance in the Light will have a recital for all classes on June 2, 2013.
Summer classes and dance camps information is now available for Dance In The Light. The classes will have a drop in rate of $15/class or there are two options for prepayment. A punch card is available for $100 and allows students to take 10 1-hour classes. There is also an unlimited summer dance program for $350. Please check the summer schedule for specific class information and weeks the studio will be open.
*There will be no refunds issued for unused prepaid classes.
NOW OFFERING HOMESCHOOL DANCE CLASS
In these fun and upbeat classes, children will have the opportunity to strengthen their social skills while learning the basics of dance. Girls will learn jazz, ballet and basic acro. Boys will do a little strength conditioning, along with jazz and hip-hop (CYT style).
This class meets weekly on Tuesdays from 10am - 11am at our Westwood Office Park studio. The cost is per month and discounts are available to siblings participating in this program. Please visit the CYT camps page to register for this class.
